It's really hard to get to know new people when we don't meet face-to-face. So, please tell us who you are.

You can write anything you like about yourself. Please introduce yourself in a comment below. Want to know more? Reply to someone's introduction to ask them some more.

I asked some B5 users to write interesting questions. You can answer some of these if you like, or you can write whatever you like. Let's get started...

  1. Where are you from?
  2. What kind of girls/guys do you like?
  3. What do you do for living?
  4. Who's your favorite actor/actress?
  5. What do you want to be in the future?
  6. How did you find out about B5?
  7. Which animal do you look like?
  8. Are you in love with somebody?
  9. What countries have you been to?
  10. What is your mother tongue?
Have fun. Remember, you don't have to answer any of these. You can write whatever you like.

  • What kind of girls do I like? Etsuko. She's my wife.
  • I'm an English teacher, but I've also worked at many other jobs.
  • My favorite actor and actress is really tough to choose. I guess I really like Gene Hackman and Julianne Moore.I also like Nicholas Cage and Bridget Fonda. Oh yeah, Samuel L. Jackson is cool too. And...

  • I don't think I look like any animals, but a student told me I looked like a "hage nezumi" one day. I think that's Japanese for a "bald mouse". I had really short hair then. And, the student was in kindergarten.
  • Are you in love with somebody? See above.
  • What countries have you been to? USA, Canada, France, Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. I hope I didn't forget any.

    Who am I. ( Comment #4)
by Michael on Thu Apr 01, 2004 at 08:18:41 AM PST

Where are you from? I was born and raised in Toronto. Toronto is the biggest city in Canada. There are about 4 million people living in the Greater Toronto Area. It is also considered to be the most multicultural city in the world. About half of the people living there were born outside of Canada. About half the people in Toronto speak English at home. After English the most commonly used Languages in Toronto are Chinese, and Italian. Japanese isn't used much but Japanese is the 10th largest ethnic group in Toronto. Japanese food is very popular. In fact sushi is available in many supermarkets. I moved to Windsor to attend university and I stayed there for 10 years. I'm very fond of Windsor and I guess I consider it to be my hometown along with Toronto. Windsor isn't as multicultural as Toronto but it is a border town so it is very international in character. On the other side of the border is Detroit. Detroit is famous as "The Motor City" and as the hometown of music greats such as Stevie Wonder, and Eminem. What do you do for living? I'm a teacher of English to students of other languages. Actually teaching is more like a hobby for me. Fortunately I receive a salary for doing it. Who's your favourite actor/actress? Hmm, difficult to answer. I can't really say I have one favourite male or female actor. Also, many of my favourites are not very well known, especially in Japan, but I'll list a few anyway because I hope people who read this might take the time to discover these actors. I like Steve Buscemi, Lothaire Bluteau, Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies), Robert Carlyle, Helen Mirren, and Holly Hunter. I also like Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Sean Connery, who are very famous. What do you want to be in the future? What I am now, only better. I'd also like to be a writer and a visual artist. How did you find out about B5? Ted told me about it. Which animal do you look like? A bear. Many of my students call me Pooh-san. Other students think I look like George Clooney and some think I look like Mr. Bean. What kind of animals do they look like? Are you in love with somebody? Yes, I'm in love with my wife. What countries have you been to? America, Australia, China (Hong Kong), England, France, India, Indonesia (Bali), Ireland, Italy, The Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago. Also, I've been to 20 prefectures in Japan. What is your mother tongue? English and Blarney
