Sometimes trailer means a special kind of cart or wagon that is attached to the back of a truck. The much more interesting kind of trailer is a movie trailer.
|
| Movie trailers are also called "previews". They are short ads that appear in theaters before the main movie starts. You can see one or two minutes of a new movie to decide if you want to watch it.
English-trailers.com is a website that Andrew Johnson at Ritsumeikan University made. He's an experienced computer programmer, so it looks pretty cool. It might be fun. Try it if you like movies.
It is a good idea to read the instructions before you try to use the site. You can:
- read about the movie in the "Summary"
- try a listening exercise by clicking "Cloze"
- read the "Script"
- and try a "Quiz" to see what you learned.
