B5 is taking a break

By B5 Editor, Section Ask B5

I'v eused this site for the past several years to help students post their journals online. It has been very useful, but it is time to make a change. Since I started this site, new and better software has become available.

So, B5 will still be here for a little while. If you would like to copy your old Diaries or Stories, try to do it soon. I will have a replacement website available this term and the old B5 will disappear before the end of this year.

No new Comments, Diaries, or Stories can be posted.

Check back for information about the new website coming soon.

I dicided to go to India this summer vacation or winter vacation.I have some reasons why I want to go.First,I want to know the indian`s standard of living.People are focused on the progress of Indian economy. In fact, maybe some Indian are rich.On the other hand, lots of Indian are poor.I`m going to go to urban cities and rural towns.Second,Indian can speak english,so i can study English.Of course, I want to go to historical places like the river Ganges. If you have been to India or countries where are similar to India, please give me Infomation or advice.

High Technology

Recently, high technology is full of our life. But, some people say high tech isn't always good. I think so too.
Indeed, by the glace of it,our life became convenient and we can lead a life easily. But, is convenience always good ?
I think no. For example, the develop of facilities of travel reduce the chance of walking. It makes our health bad. So, some people do 'walking' for their health. Essentially, 'walking' isn't things done on purpose but done naturally.
Like this, ecology is broken rapidly. So, we have to use technology carefully.

I went to Cambodia for a week during the winter vacation. While I was there, I met a very nice couple from England- John and Maddie. They are coming to Japan for three weeks starting April 21. Where should we go?

To tell the truth, I really prefer living in a big city rather than in a small town, because of its conveniences.

How would you like to try a Halloween word search game? Some of the words in this puzzle are quite challenging, but if you like English puzzles, give this one a try.

Also, read the rest of this story for links to some cool Jack-o-lanterns.

What should I write on B5? Where should I write it?

There are two things that students can write on B5: diaries, and comments. They are each a little bit different, so you should think about what kind of writing you want to post to B5.
